Venue

We offer to host ITP in the week starting on Monday, September 12th, on the technology premises (“Campus Technik”) of the university. Since lecture rooms are free of charge, we anticipate a low registration fee. We already made preliminary reservations of a big lecture hall, for ITP proper, as well as some smaller meeting rooms, for workshops etc. The venue is easily reachable from the city center via public transportation (every 5 minutes, a direct bus taking around 10 minutes).

Innsbruck airport has daily connections to Frankfurt, London, and Vienna. As an alternative, one can take a flight connection to Munich airport, and then travel further to Innsbruck via train or airport shuttle (approximately 2.5 hours, 45 EUR).

Finances

In order to keep the costs for participants low, we will apply for at least two different funds at the University of Innsbruck, and in addition watch out for sponsors.

Host Institution

The institute of computer science was founded in the year 2001 as part of the “Technology Initiative” in western Austria. Despite its youth, there are strong connections to the interactive theorem proving community, which are exemplified by regular submissions to ITP, by a curricula reform which includes interactive theorem proving in the master program, and by three current research projects having interactive theorem proving as main topic.
