Student Assessment
In the seminar, each student will present one of pre-assigned topic; the available topics will be given here before the seminar starts on October 6. The topics will be assigned on October 20.The following topics where chosen by the student indicated:
- Computation of market equilibria by convex programming
Herbert Jordan - Graphical Games
Peter Thoman - Mechanism design
Bertram Felgenhauer - Routing games
Clemens Domanig - Load balancing or job allocation schemes
Fard Hamid Mohammadi
Seminar Talk
The seminar talks should present the main results obtained with respect to the language studied. Each slot will be allocated 45 minutes and the speaker should leave at least 15 minutes for discussion. The talks will be chaired and no overtime will be granted.
Seminar Report
After the talk a short, but detailed overview of the material covered in the talk has to be handed in (maximum 5 pages). This extended abstract should not repeat basic definitions or concepts studied, but present the key ideas present in the provided material.Deadline for seminar reports is February 20, 2011, 23:59. Please send a PDF file to both lecturers.
